I'm Steve Harwood operator of Amateur Radio Station G4OWT. I am located in the town of Lewes in East Sussex. If you wish to be precise my actual location is: QTH 50.52 N 0.01W Grid Locator IO90XU.

I have been interested in radio since the early 70s, and was first licensed in 1980 as G6CWH. I held my class B license for a year, and then took my Morse (CW) test. I passed and was issued with the call G4OWT in 1981. My main interests HF DXing and contests, I have now finally managed to get on the ARRL DXCC honor roll!

I have been active on HF since 1981, but I did have a break in 1988 to 1993 as the house I was living in did not have any space for antennas.

I made use of the time by putting all my logs on to the computer. I use DX4Win
